Holiday Season Update

Hello all,
I just wanted to give an update on what’s been going on in my life recently. My relationship with the Lord has continued to grow and I’m extremely thankful to have Him in my life. I’ve begun to volunteer at the ICCM Life Center every Friday night to go out into downtown Minneapolis and serve those in need. This includes giving away meals and clothing to people on the streets who are in need of warm clothing for themselves and/or their children. It has been a great experience being able to serve the community and getting to know new people.
I was even fortunate enough to be able to spend part of my Christmas Eve serving at the Life Center when they gave out Christmas gifts, groceries, and clothing to those in need; although the freezing weather was a little tough to battle out.
Starting in January I will be hosting and co-leading a Welcome Home Lifegroup through my church River Valley. This group is about building community within the church and focuses more on relationships with each other in a Christian community. We are hoping to reach a young adult demographic and I’m excited to be leading with my other co-leaders whom I continue to grow closer to.
